Most of the time the Quick Lauch Toolbar shows what you do not want to see. This is because it arranges the icons in alphabetical order.
Try this for example if you want to see the Show Desktop icon by preference instead of any others.
1. Right click the Show Desktop icon and Rename it as Desktop.
2. Right click the Taskbar, choose Toolbars and Quick Launch to close the Quick Launch.
3. Right click the Taskbar, choose Toolbars and Quick Launch again to display the Quick Launch toolbar again.
Chances are you will see the Show Desktop icon unless you have more than 3 icons named with alphabets A, B, C and D.
